FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Kids and coffee typically don’t go hand in hand, however that’s not the case at Fort Wayne’s newest coffee shop.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Thursday for Java Mama Cafe, located at 5916 Covington Road across from Time Corners.
Java Mama Cafe is described in a press release as a kid-friendly place for parents, caregivers and children alike. Adults can take advantage of the free wi-fi, while the kids have fun in a specially designed play area.
The café specializes in gourmet coffee, teas, sandwiches, grilled Panini’s, soups, salads, and pastries. In
addition to great coffee and food, Java Mama Café offers child-friendly and safe areas designed
for children 6 and under.
Java Mama also offers numerous classes catering to parents and children.
From May 12 to 17 Java Mama will be offering free classes and specials on food and beverages.
On Saturday May 10, the restaurant will celebrate its grand opening with free crafts & face painting for kids, a mommy and
me fashion show, and a raffle for free merchandise.
