Wayne Tops Snider, Generals Now 7-1 In SAC

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Wayne topped Snider 4-3 in nine innings on Tuesday as the Generals improved to a conference-best 7-1 in SAC play.

Nick Huyck’s single in the bottom of the ninth plated Braxton Riley to earn a win for the Generals. Huyck also added an RBI double in the third.

Huyck started the game on the mound, pitching eight innings. He allowed no earned runs and gave up just five hits while striking out eight.

Matt McCullough picked up the win in relief for the Generals. Andrew Barchak took the loss for Snider.
