USF Tops Grace, Falls To HU In Crossroads League Tourney

HUNTINGTON, Ind. – Saint Francis topped Grace 4-3 to stay alive in the Crossroads League tournament on Monday morning.

The Cougars broke a 3-3 tied in the seventh when Kyle McKay’s sacrifice fly brought home Bishop Dwenger graduate Chaise Kahlenbeck to give USF a 4-3 lead they would never relinquish.

Wesley Hunsucker pitched a complete game for the Cougars.

Later in the day, however, Huntington University ended USF’s season, beating the Cougars 8-5. Dylan Henricks had three hits to lead Huntington.
