Swanigan Drawing More Attention From Colleges

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Homestead standout Caleb Swanigan was a popular man on Friday night after his team, Spiece Indy Heat, earned a comfortable win over the West Michigan Lakers.

After playing well at an EYBL event in Sacramento recently, the college scholarship offers have picked up. Swanigan told WANE that Louisville, UCLA, Cal, and Notre Dame among others have offered within the last week. He also says he’s being recruited by Kentucky, though says he hasn’t received an offer from the Wildcats contrary to other reports.

Swanigan went into the AAU season already holding offers from Michigan State, Indiana, Georgetown, and Tennessee among many others.

Recruiting website Rivals.com ranks Swanigan as the no. 13 overall player in the class of 2016.
