FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE)  The McDonald’s at Time Corners has been torn down, but the restaurant isn’t gone for good at that location. By July, a new building should be open for business at 5703 W. Jefferson Blvd..

The restaurant closed the week of April 21 ahead of the planned demolition and construction.

According to WANE’s news partners at the News Sentinel, the new layout will have improved traffic flow and a dual-lane drive-thru service.

Chad Daily, assistant regional construction manager for McDonald’s regional office in Indianapolis, told the News Sentinel the new building will allow staff to serve more customers and to provide faster and more accurate service.
