FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE)  – Police said a woman’s ex-boyfriend broke into her apartment and then beat another man’s face to the point where he will have permanent breathing issues.

According to court documents, Parker W. Ahee, 22, broke into Abbey Beer’s apartment on April 24 by tearing a screen from her porch. Ahee then entered her apartment through a sliding patio door.

Ahee saw Beer kissing another man, later identified as Evan Beal, and started to attack him. Police said Ahee punched Beal in the face at least six times.

Doctors at Parkview Hospital said the cartilage on Beal’s nose was disintegrated. Doctors told police Beal will need extensive surgery which will result in permanent breathing issues for him.

After Beal went to the hospital, Ahee stayed at Beer’s apartment and began to yell at her. A neighbor called the apartment complex after hearing the screams.

Beer told police Ahee would not let her leave her apartment, even when representatives from the apartment complex began knocking on the door.

Beer told police that Ahee had been coming to her apartment uninvited since they broke up. She also said Ahee had his friends follow her around.

Ahee was charged with battery, criminal confinement, and residential entry on Wednesday.

As of Wednesday afternoon, Ahee was listed in the Allen County Jail.
