Wayne Names Shaw Head Football Coach

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Wayne high school went north to find a new head football coach as Scot Shaw.

Shaw coached high school football in Michigan for 25 years, including 19 with Three Rivers. He won the 2003 Division IV state title there.

Shaw also has college coaching experience, recently serving as the running backs coach at Hope College for two seasons.

Shaw also has plenty of Indiana ties. A native Hoosier, Shaw graduated from Mishawaka High School and Butler University.

He takes over at Wayne for Robert Brown, who went 6-4 last season and 9-23 overall in three years.
