DECATUR, Ind. (WANE) – Police said two students were injured after a fight at Bellmont High School on Tuesday morning.
According to Decatur Police Chief Ken Ketzler, the two boys got into a verbal fight in the hallway that connects the gym to the rest of the school. They then started pushing each other and went through the window (see photo).
Ketzler said both boys were taken to the hospital. One boy was cut up pretty badly, according to police.
Ketzler could not say what sparked the altercation. One student was a freshman and the other was a senior, police said.
