No one was home when the fire broke out.

Several fire departments and around 30 firefighters were eventually called to help douse the flames. Crews used a pond across the road to shuttle water to the scene.

Three additional structures on the property were being protected by firefighters from the initial house fire. Officials told NewsChannel 15 some of the other buildings contain animals which were safely moved away from the fire.

No people or animals were injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
