DeBrand donating half of Monday sales to Indian orphanage

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – DeBrand is donating half of its sales this Sunday and Monday to the Home of Love girls’ orphanage in India.

The company’s owner and her daughter recently went on a mission trip to the country. They said they wanted to give back to the orphanage as soon as they returned from their trip.

“Right now, the girls sleep on a concrete floor, so we wanted to help give them beds. They’re just so loving, and we really got involved, and we loved all of them so much so that’s why we really want to help them out and give them hope, give them a place to stay, show them that people care about them and that they want to help them,” said Aubree Beere, assistant manager of the DeBrand store on Auburn Road.
