Bomb threat prompts Marion High School evacuation

MARION, Ind. (WISH) — A Central Indiana high school was evacuated for a bomb threat Friday.

Marion High School students were sent to Indiana Wesleyan University following an initial lockdown before noon on Friday, according to Marion Community Schools officials.

Parents were told to meet at IWU’s Luckey Arena to see their children.

On Thursday, a bomb threat mentioned three high schools in Henry and Hancock counties in central Indiana, causing four schools to be evacuated. No bomb was ever discovered.
