FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE)  A felony charge was filed in Allen County Superior Court on Thursday in connection with a case where a driver was pulled over on Sunday after a police officer witnessed him speeding and making a turn without signalling.

According to court documents, Keith M. Johnson was pulled over by a Fort Wayne police officer at the intersection of Anthony and Wayne Trace.  When the officer got close to Johnson, there was a strong odor of alcohol coming from the car.  The officer also saw a can of Bud Light in the center console.  Johnson gave the officer an Indiana ID card and when the officer checked on the status of the driver’s license, he learned it had been suspended for a prior offense.

During the arrest, 3.1 grams of what later tested positive for cocaine was found in Johnson’s right pocket. He’s now facing a felony charge for possession of cocaine and misdemeanor charges for OWI and driving with a suspended license. provides commenting on many stories to allow for constructive discussion.
