DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – Two men face several drug related charges after a traffic stop on State Road 205 Tuesday evening.

The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department said a deputy pulled over a vehicle for speeding in the 6200 block of State Road 205, southwest of Garrett.

Deputy Brady Thomas asked the driver for consent to search the vehicle. During the course of the search, Deputy Thomas discovered a large black garbage bag that contained precursors commonly associated with the manufacturing of methamphetamine.

Two occupants in the vehicle, Brandon Garrett, 24, Garrett, and Dylan Garrett, 18, were also found in possession of meth.

Brandon Garrett was arrested and charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of precursors, and felony manufacturing methamphetamine.

Dylan Garrett was arrested and charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of a synthetic drug.

The sheriff’s office did not disclose any relationship between the two men. However, a police report indicated the same address for both men.
