IPFW Softball Sweeps Bowling Green

Friday Predicted Snow Totals

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The IPFW softball team rallied from a 6-2 deficit in the bottom of the seventh inning to tie the score and eventually out-last Bowling Green 7-6 in 12 innings, before running away with a 6-0 victory in five innings in the afternoon finale, improving IPFW to 33-13 on the season.

Ashleigh Bousquet was 4-for-7 at the plate on the day, while Larissa Franklin was 5-for-9. Alex Bousquet drove in three, as Ashleigh Bousquet scored four times.

Freshman Katilyn Biere picked up her first collegiate win in the opener, pitching a scoreless eight innings, while Megan Flenniken got the shutout victory in the afternoon finale, striking out seven.
