INDIANAPOLIS (WANE) – A Marion County Sheriff’s Department deputy was killed in an off-duty crash Sunday night, according to Indiana State Police.

Emergency personnel were dispatched to the 8900 block of Action Road in the far-southeast corner of Marion County around 7:30 p.m.

Speed or alcohol are not considered factors in the crash.

An autopsy is scheduled to determine the exact cause of death.
