FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Fort Wayne police are investigating after a man said he was shot while bringing in his trash can Thursday night.

Shortly after 11 p.m., investigators were dispatched to Parkview Hospital Randallia after hospital officials notified police about the patient, which is standard procedure.
