Mad Ants Edge Skyforce 113-111 In Series Opener

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (WANE) – Tony Mitchell banked in an impossible shot with 4.2 seconds left in the fourth quarter as the Mad Ants staged a furious fourth quarter comeback to beat Sioux Falls 113-111 in the first game of their best-of-three NBA Development League semifinal series.

The Ants outscored the Skyforce 34-20 in the fourth quarter to earn the win.

Mitchell finished with 19 points, while Sadiel Rojas led a group of eight Ants in double figures with 20 points. Will Frisby, Ron Howard, and Matt Bouldin each tallied 14 points while Trey McKinney Jones added 12. Tim Ohlbrecht and Chris Porter chipped in with 10 points apiece.

The Ants can now close out the series on Saturday night in game two of the series. The series shifts to the Coliseum with game two at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
