FORT WAYNE, IN. (WANE) – Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano was the guest speaker at Wednesday night’s Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana fundraising banquet.
In addition to his involvement with the organization, Pagano discussed the upcoming 2014 NFL season, saying he believes the Colts have the pieces in place to make a run at a Super Bowl. On the subject of May’s NFL Draft, Pagano laughed and said the Colts are looking to make improvements across the board with their upcoming selections.
Colts scout team quarterback Chandler Harnish – a graduate of Norwell High School – was also in attendance. Harnish echoed his coach’s thoughts that 2014 has the potential to be a big year in Indianapolis. He also added, that this will be the most important season of his career. As a third-year pro – Harnish says if he is to earn a permanent spot on the Colts roster, this is the year to do it. The Ossian native has been working out with Andrew Luck out west and says he gets back to the practice field on Monday.
