FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Firefighters responded to the fire at 3511 Engle Road just after noon on Monday.
The fire was in the vacuum pump room at the Mullinix Packages facility, according to the release from the Fort Wayne Fire Department.
The small room filled with thick black smoke, but crews were able to keep it contained within some electrical equipment.
Fifty employees evacuated the building as a precaution but the facility did not report a significant loss of time in the manufacturing process.
No one was hurt and crews had the situation under control in less then 30 minutes.
