Crews fight fire at vacant home

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a fire at a home just north of downtown Sunday morning.

The fire started at 1518 Richardson Street just after 4:30 a.m.

When firefighters arrived, flames were coming from the side of the building. They got it under control within about 20 minutes.

The house was vacant at the time of the fire and has a condemned sign on it.

Crews had to deal with an electrical line at the house.

No one was injured.

The cause is under investigation.
