Retirement home helping people fight debilitating disease

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Lutheran Life Villages has a new program that helps people delay the symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease.

“Rock Steady Boxing” lets anyone at various stages of the disease work with a special trainer.

The classes incorporate non-combative boxing fitness to suppress symptoms of the disease.
