FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Group bike tours throughout downtown Fort Wayne are now being offered by Pedal City. This new business allows you to pedal around downtown while enjoying adult beverages and music!
The 17-foot bikes, which seat up to 15 people, are operated by a designated driver. Guests who are over 21 can bring their own beer and wine on the tours. No hard liquor is allowed.
Tours are offered Sunday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Admission cost is $200 for two hours on weekdays and $300 for two hours on weekends, so it’s about $13 per person on weekdays and $20 per person on weekends.
Pedal City participants also receive free cover at all of its sponsored downtown stops, including The Deck, JK O’Donnells, Dash-In, and more. For a full list of places you can stop along the tour, click here.
Pedal City owners Adam Murphy and Janelle Ford joined Gina Glaros and Rob Lydick on First News Saturday to discuss their new business. Click on the video link above to watch the interview.
Murphy said 10 of the 15 guests must also be pedaling with the driver to get around the city. All tours will start and take off from Club Soda’s parking lot, located at 235 E Superior Street, unless another location is predetermined.
