Komets Add Defensman Sefton To Roster

Justin Sefton

FORT WAYNE – The Komets announced Saturday that defenseman Justin Sefton has agreed to terms and has been added to the Fort Wayne roster.

Sefton, who will turn 21 on Monday, has recently completed a five-year junior career in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).  The Thunder Bay, Ontario native skated with the Saginaw Spirit this season and led Saginaw defensemen with 16 goals while adding 21 assists to rank second among Spirit defensemen with 37 points appearing in all 68 regular season games.

Sefton was selected by San Jose in round three of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.  He won the OHL Championship as a member of the London Knights last season.

The Komets will cap the 2013-14 regular season slate with their home finale tonight against the Toledo Walleye at the Memorial Coliseum.

Komet End of Season Awards will be presented in a ceremony immediately following tonight’s game.

Still plenty of good seats remain on sale at the Coliseum Ticket Office.
