FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The annual sale of retired colors, styles, and collections of popular Vera Bradley items will be ready for the taking at the annual Vera Bradley Outlet Sale starting Wednesday.
The Allen County War Memorial Coliseum will welcome visitors from all over the world as tens-of-thousands of shoppers will look for deeply discounted items through Sunday. It’s annually one of the most well-attended events in Fort Wayne.
Wednesday through Friday shoppers will need to buy tickets for specific sessions on each day. The tickets cost five dollars and shoppers can select which session they want to attend as long as its not sold out. Tickets can be purchased through the Vera Bradley website.
Session times and weekend sales hours are as follow:
Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (tickets required):
- 7:30 a.m. – 10 a.m.
- 11: a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
- 2:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.
- 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
- 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Staff members will clear the Expo Center floor between each session.
Shoppers who wish to make a purchase at the event must also register. That can be done online or in-person at the sale, but customers will need a valid photo I.D.
On Saturday and Sunday, the outlet sale is open to the general public and no admission ticket is required. But, customers will still need to register to make purchases.
As in years past, Vera Bradley has included a maximum purchasing amount of $3,500. The maximum amount is for the total duration of the sale, not just per day. Shoppers in years past have packed bags on to their arms, over strollers, or have other people carry items.
Visitors to the sale will also have the option at checkout to make a donation to the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer.
