Jasick Confirms He Is Heading To Jacksonville

FORT WAYNE, (Ind.) – Tony Jasick confirmed via text message to WANE-TV late Tuesday night that he has officially accepted the head coaching job at the University of Jacksonville and will be leaving IPFW.

Jasick led the Dons to a 52-47 overall record in three seasons, including a program record 25 wins this campaign.

“This announcement comes with mixed emotions,” Jasick wrote. “I’m extremely excited about the opportunity in front of me and my family, but also realize that we are leaving a great place and great friends. Fort Wayne has become our home and will always be a special place to us. I want to thank everyone for their support and friendship over the last nine years.”

Jasick spent six seasons as an assistant under Dane Fife at IPFW before Fife left for an assistant coaching job at Michigan State.
