DETROIT (AP) — A 17-year-old has been arraigned and two other men are charged in the beating of a suburban motorist who accidentally struck a 10-year-old Detroit boy with his pickup truck.

Bruce Wimbush Jr., 30-year-old Wonzey Saffold and 24-year-old James Davis are charged with assault with intent to murder and assault with intent to do great bodily harm.

A not-guilty plea was entered for Wimbush during a video arraignment Tuesday. His bond is $500,000.

Prosecutors say Saffold and Davis also will be arraigned Tuesday.

A 16-year-old boy also is in custody following Wednesday’s attack on 54-year-old Steve Utash. Others are being sought.

David Harris was injured after stepping in front of Utash’s pickup. At least a half-dozen men jumped Utash after he stopped to help the boy.
