Three injured in Tipton County crash

TIPTON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – Police said three people were injured in a three-car crash in Tipton County on Friday afternoon.

According to an Indiana State Police press release, Daniel Isgette, 30, of Florence, South Carolina was driving northbound on U.S. 31 when he failed to stop for a red traffic light at the intersection of State Road 28. Isgette’s car then hit a car driven by Stephanie Albrecht, 21, of Muncie.

The impact of the crash pushed Albrecht’s car in to the front bumper of a semi, driven by Stephen Sheldon, 33, of Denver.

Police said Albrecht had to be extricated from her vehicle by firefighters from the Cicero Township Fire Department. She was taken by ambulance to an Indianapolis hospital with arm and rib injuries.

According to ISP, Isgette was not injured, but two passengers in his vehicle where transported by ambulance to a Tipton hospital, with a complaint of leg pain.
