KOKOMO, Ind. (AP) — Authorities say a 63-year-old man was found dead amid trash delivered to a central Indiana city facility.

The Howard County coroner says the body of Elvin Miracle of Bunker Hill was spotted Thursday morning at Kokomo’s trash transfer station, where city garbage trucks dump out their loads.

City police Maj. Brian Seldon tells the Kokomo Tribune (http://bit.ly/1gRUSaR ) detectives were tracing back over the truck routes to figure out how the man ended up in a trash container.

Coroner Jay Price says an autopsy was planned to determine how the man died.
