Scotty’s Brewhouse owner Scott Wise told NewsChannel 15 that he will take possession of the building on April 15 and will start remodeling in June. Wise anticipates being ready to train employees by the end of August and open for business in mid-September.

He plans to hire 125 people to fill full and part time positions including managers, hostesses, waitresses, and bartenders.

Scotty’s had previously planned to open at the corner of Jefferson Boulevard and Getz Road in the fall of 2013, but those plans fell through. In 2010, the owner of Scotty’s signed a letter of intent to open a restaurant at the Harrison complex next to Parkview Field in downtown Fort Wayne. In 2011, NewsChannel 15 reported that owner Scott Wise changed his mind and backed out of The Harrison project, citing financial and lease issues as well as concerns about the timeline.

Scotty’s has several location across Indiana including:

Scotty’s features burgers, wraps, 30 draft beers, 30 types of bottled beers, and specialty cocktails
