FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Hallmark Inn has made major improvements to its motel after the city of Fort Wayne tried to condemn it for safety concerns.
Management has made more than $200,000 in repairs to remodeling rooms, building structure, and more. There’s even improvements on the exterior of the building with new sidings on parts of the buildings. The manager said there are still thousands of dollars of repairs to come, but they’re taking projects one at a time because money is tight.
We contacted Code Enforcement Tuesday. Officials said they’re working with the owner and has not given the owner a timeline on when any of the projects should be done.
