Westview Prepares For 2A State Title Game

TOPEKA, Ind. (WANE) – The Westview boys basketball try to put a third state title in the program’s trophy case this weekend as the Warriors are set to battle Park Tudor in the 2A state championship game this Saturday in Indianapolis.

Westview won back-to-back state titles in 1999 and 2000.

The Warriors (23-4) go into the 2A title game unranked, while Park Tudor (23-4) in no. 1 in the state.

Park Tudor is led by Xavier recruit Trevon Bluiett, who is currently sixth in Indiana state history with 2,494 career points.  Bluiett led the state this year at 36.2 points per game.

Westview is coming off a 65-58 win over Lewis Cass at semi-state.
