IPFW’s Kaiser Earns Second POTW Honor

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – IPFW second baseman Greg Kaiser earned his second Summit League Player of the Week honor in as many weeks for his performance March 17-23.

Kaiser earns his second consecutive Player of the Week award after leading IPFW in nearly every offensive category in a three-game series at Eastern Illinois. The sophomore had three hits in game one and added two hits with three RBI in the series finale. In the middle game of the series, the second baseman had four hits, including two homers, seven RBI and two runs scored. For the week, Kaiser batted .692 (9-for-13) with 10 RBI, three runs, two home runs, a double and one stolen base. He totaled 16 bases for a 1.231 slugging percentage and .692 on-base percentage while recording at least two hits in each game.
