FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – After beating College of the Ozarks last night in the NAIA Division II women’s national title game in Sioux City, Iowa the Cougars returned home with the trophy to a throng of supporters on the USF campus Wednesday night.
The Cougars won the program’s first-ever national title to complete the season a perfect 38-0.
USF senior Skylarr Shurn was named NAIA DII Player of the Year as well.
