Bar 145 states on its website that it is a restaurant “….specializing in ‘Burgers, Bands, and Bourbon.’ A gastro pub has an atmosphere that is relaxed and focused on offering a particular cuisine prepared as well as the best restaurants.”

Some features on the Ohio menus include House Truffle Fries, Roasted Bone Marrow, a build-your-own-burger option, and Chorizo scotch eggs. Check out the Toledo location’s menu for an example of a Bar 145 menu. An extensive bourbon selection is also posted online.

The News Sentinel reports that the Fort Wayne location will have live entertainment six nights a week.

The name ‘Bar 145,’ is a reference to the temperature of a perfectly cooked medium rare burger, according to the restaurant’s website.

The restaurant’s site also indicates a dedication to using local farmers and fresh products.

There is currently no information on the Fort Wayne location or opening date. One of the restaurant’s founders is expected to sign a lease within the next few days, according to the News Sentinel.

Bar 145 currently has three Ohio locations and plans to open at least four more in 2014.
