Saint Francis Punches Ticket To NAIA Title Game

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (WANE) – Saint Francis will play for the NAIA Division II national title tomorrow night in Sioux City as the Cougars topped Cardinal Stritch 68-64 in the semifinals on Monday.

Top-ranked USF improves to 37-0 on the season with the win.

Kalah Baer led the way for USF with 16 points and nine rebounds. Norwell graduates Paige Frisch and Jenelle Wilson each scored 15 points while Crossroads League player of the year Skylarr Shurn tallied 12 points, seven assists, and five rebounds.

The Cougars will play College of the Ozarks tomorrow in the title game at 8 p.m. Fort Wayne time.
