Victims sexually assaulted in van after accepting ride at bus stop

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Two victims told police they were driven to an unknown location by two men and sexually assaulted at gunpoint early Saturday morning in Indianapolis.

At around 5:15 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to the Admiral gas station located in the 1800 block of North Shadeland Avenue on the report of a rape.

According to a police report, officers spoke with the victims, who said they were waiting for the bus near 16th and Emerson when they got into a van with two men who agreed to give them a ride to their destination.

The victims said that instead, they were driven to an unknown location near Shadeland Avenue and sexually assaulted in the van by the suspects, one of which was armed with a handgun.

One suspect is described as a 35-year-old man, stocky build, wearing a a red t-shirt and red camouflage pants, with short hair. He had a black pistol and possibly goes by the name “Chris.”

The second suspect is described as a 25-year-old man, thin build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and a necklace with a big silver cross on it.

The report states the men were driving in a red van.
