FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE)- The University of Saint Francis has a new Bachelor of Science degree that is the first of its kind in northeastern Indiana.
The university is offering a Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition starting in the fall of 2014.
The program exposes students to area nutritionists and organizations to develop their career possibilities.
Students that enter the program will take classes that encompass business, biology, social and psychological aspects of health.
Graduates of the nutrition degree can apply to a Master of Science in nutrition or classes in medical and dental programs.
