SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (WANE) – The IPFW men will try and take another step towards a conference title and a berth in the NCAA tournament tonight as the Mastodons battle South Dakota State in the Summit League tournament semifinals.

Tip is set for 9:30 p.m. Fort Wayne time in Sioux Falls, S.D.

WANE-TV is in Sioux Falls for the tournament and Joe Whelan interviewed IPFW head coach Tony Jasick live during the 6 p.m. news to preview the game.

IPFW is coming off an impressive performance in the quarterfinals on Saturday. The Dons beat IUPUI 85-47.

The Dons have played tonight’s opponent twice already this season. On January 11 the Dons beat the Jackrabbits 82-75 at the Gates Center, but lost at SDU 79-51 on February 6.
