Reed Family Hits Road For Summit League Tourney

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (WANE) – Sioux Falls may be more than a hop, skip, and a jump from Fort Wayne, but sophomore post player Joe Reed can count on his family for support even if it means logging some frequent flier miles.

Joe’s parents, MaryAnn and Scott, flew from Indianapolis to Sioux Falls to watch their son play for the Masotodons at the Summit League tournament. The Dons beat IUPUI in the quarterfinals on Saturday. They face South Dakota State tonight at 9:30 p..m.

Joe’s mom, MaryAnn, was a member of the 1980 Southport high school girls basketball team that won the state championship.
