FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Nearly 500 people came out to the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo’s job fair on Saturday.

Zoo officials said they are looking to hire 75 employees for the upcoming season. Most of the positions available are related to guest service.

“We see half a million people at the zoo every year. That’s a lot of guests. We want to treat them all well, so we’re looking for folks with exceptional customer service skills,” Cheryl Piropato, education and communications director at the zoo, said.

If you missed the job fair but are still interested in applying, you can find applications on the zoo’s website.

The zoo opens on April 26.
