CLAYPOOL, Ind. (WANE) – Police said an anonymous tip led to the arrest of a Claypool woman who had $3,000 worth of heroin in her home.
Officers went to 48-year-old Teresa Lavone Lambert’s home Wednesday afternoon after receiving the tip. Police said Lambert admitted she was selling heroin from her home, located at 7420 West Bensart Drive in Claypool.
Police found 15 small bags of individually packaged heroin, along with around $800 in cash, inside Lambert’s home.
Lambert was arrested and preliminarily charged with Dealing a Schedule I Controlled Substance. She is being held at the Kosciusko County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers said the bags of heroin had a street value of around $3,000.
