Man arrested after narcotics raid

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A Fort Wayne man is facing several drug related charges after a search revealed several illegal narcotics and guns at a home on Butler Street.

The Fort Wayne Police Department Vice and Narcotics Division served a search warrant at 324 West Butler Street Thursday evening, according to police department report.

While searching the residence, officers found 248 grams of Spice, numerous articles of paraphernalia, and Schedule IV controlled substances. Investigators said 2 handguns were also found inside the home and taken into evidence.

Officers arrested 33-year-old Catrell Coleman on several felony charges.

Coleman is charged with three counts of dealing a synthetic drug, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of Schedule IV controlled substance, and possession of a firearm with a previous conviction. Investigators said Coleman has a preview domestic battery conviction making possession of a firearm illegal.

Coleman’s bond was set at $25,750.
