Indiana’s Most Wanted picture leads to drug bust

Scattered showers possible after midnight Wednesday

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – Police arrested a wanted man on drug-related charges after a woman said she had seen his picture on the Indiana’s Most Wanted list.

According to an affidavit for probable cause, a man called police after seeing his daughter and Ronnie L. Gipple, 46, in his apartment. He told police he believed Gipple had warrants out for his arrest because his granddaughter found his picture on Indiana’s Most Wanted list.

Officers went to the apartment and found Gipple bending over a trash can in the kitchen. Police said several baggies and syringes were found in the trash can.

Officers found meth, marijuana, pipes with burnt residue, several more syringes, a scale, and other materials commonly associated to making meth inside the apartment.

Gipple was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana and Reckless Possession of Paraphernalia.

According to the website, Gipple was wanted for several possession charges, along with a public intoxication charge.
