Drug tip leads to arrests at mobile home park

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The Fort Wayne Police Department Methamphetamine Suppression Team arrested two people Wednesday after a months-long investigation.

Officers acted on a tip received through the department’s drug hotline. After a four month investigation, two people were arrested at a mobile home at 5719 Le Steele Boulevard Wednesday, according to a police statement.

Detectives located several one-pot meth labs inside the home. The suppression team neutralized the labs and the residence was condemned, according to police.

Officers arrested Boyd Combs on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and possession of two or more precursors. Officers also arrested Nichole McDonald on charges of visiting a common nuisance and possession of paraphernalia.

This is the 10th meth lab the FWPD suppression team has discovered this year.
