HUNTINGTON, Ind. (WANE) – A woman who allegedly gave another woman drugs that led to her death has pleaded guilty to reckless homicide.

Christy Oden, 40, was initially facing three felony drug dealing charges along with a reckless homicide charge after Annette Veach, 39, died from a morphine overdose on November 25, 2012. Three months after Veach’s death, police arrested Oden.

According to Huntington County Prosecutor Amy Richison, Oden pleaded guilty to the reckless homicide charge and the three dealing charges were dropped. Oden’s trial was supposed to start on Monday.

Oden’s sentencing will be held on April 15.
