Organizers said the weather didn’t affect attendance this year and called the show a major success.

“There’s lots of local companies that participate in this show and they look to the public to come in and talk to them about their products. It’s also good for the public to come in and see what is out here in their community,” said Karen Tejera, manager of the home and garden show.

More than 650 exhibitors offered information on home improvement, landscaping, gardening, home decor, cooking, and more. There was also a jungle-themed family area and kid’s activity center at the show.

Several NewsChannel 15 personalities stopped by the show too. On Saturday, meteorologists Nicholas Ferreri and Greg Shoup gave away free water bottles. Morning anchors Pat Hoffmann and Terra Brantley were also in on the fun. On Sunday, Rod Hissong and Gina Glaros took over the booth.
