BEDFORD, Ind. (WISH) – Three teens have been arrested after a deadly home invasion in Bedford.

Officials with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department said they received a phone call Thursday night saying someone had found a family member dead at a home on Dutch Ridge Road.

When officers arrived at the home, they found 43-year-old Rodney Allender’s body. He died from blunt force trauma, according to police.

Officers determined money and firearms had been stolen from the home and began a death investigation.

Information from witnesses helped officers identify three suspects. Officers said 18-year-old Austin M. Curtis, was arrested Friday on charges of murder and robbery. He was taken to the Lawrence County Jail without bound.

A male juvenile and 19-year-old Taylor M. Flynn were arrested Saturday in Ironton, Ohio. Deputies tracked the pair to that location and worked with local authorities to make the arrests. They will likely be brought back to Indiana later this week.
