FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A frustrating season for Komets fans continued on Friday night as the Komets scored early, but fell at home against Greenville 3-2.

The Komets came into the game in sixth place in the ECHL’s Eastern Conference playoff picture while Greenville stood in seventh.

The Komets got on the board less than five minutes into the first period when Joe Hartman tallied his second goal of the season. However, the Road Warriors would score three of the next four goals, including the game-winner by Andrew Rowe in the third period, to set the final at 3-2.

Andrey Makarov stopped 18 of 21 shots in goal for the Komets.

The Komets are off Saturday but return to action Sunday when they play at Evansville.
