Fifteen years ago Mad Ants forward Chris Porter was the best player on America’s best team. Sports Illustrated labeled the Auburn Tigers the nation’s top college basketball program and put Porter on the cover of it’s 1999 College Basketball Preview issue. The future seemed limitless for this high flying superstar from the south until Porter’s life and career took a sudden turn.

Cover Boy Comeback follows Porter’s journey from a can’t miss pro prospect, to a basketball journeyman plagued by drugs and off the court issues that not only alters his dream of playing in the NBA, but sends him across the globe chasing the game he loves. Now 35-years-old, Porter is a vital member of the Mad Ants, not only on the court, but in the locker room where he serves as a mentor to younger players.
