HARTFORD CITY, Ind. – University of Saint Francis senior forward Scott Kohne has earned All-Crossroads League selection back-to-back, one of three members of the 2013-14 USF men’s basketball team to earn All-CL in voting by the 10 coaches on Sunday.
Austin Fox, a junior forward in his first season at USF, was named to the second team. The Muncie, Ind., native tied for the league lead in double doubles.
USF junior guard Josh Hogan (Merrillville, IN / Merrillville H.S.) is the third Cougar selected, an All-CL third team selection for the second season in a row after finishing the regular season with a 16.4 scoring average.
Kohne (Fort Wayne, IN / Bishop Dwenger H.S.) led USF scoring with a 17.4 average including a 13-game streak of double-figure scoring with six 20-point plus games. Kohne, is No. 12 in rebounds in NAIA with 260, No. 27 in rebounds/game with an 8.7 average. This is Kohne’s third season earning all-conference recognition. He was All-MCC honorable mention in 2011-12 as a sophomore.
The Cougars earned the No. 2 seed in the CL Tournament and will open play at Hutzell Athletic Center on Wed., Feb. 26, 7 p.m., against No. 7 seed Spring Arbor University.
